The Tube Smallmouth Rod Kit
Fishing a tube is one of the most effective ways to target smallmouth, and the SJ833 delivers the ideal blend of sensitivity and control for this technique. Its versatile design excels when working tubes across rocky structure, gravel flats, and current seams, allowing anglers to maintain bottom contact and detect even the slightest pickup. The fast action provides crisp responsiveness for subtle hops and drags, while the medium-light power offers the perfect balance of finesse and fish-fighting control, making it a true go-to tube rod for serious smallmouth anglers.
