Speer Gold Dot Personal Protection ammunition is a 10Mm load with a 200 Grain Hollow Point bullet in a 20 Round Box.
Gold Dot was the first handgun ammunition loaded with true, bonded-core bullets. Using Speer’s exclusive Uni-Cor method, the jacket is bonded to the core one molecule at a time at the beginning of bullet construction, helping virtually eliminate core-jacket separation.
Each hollow point cavity is tuned by caliber and bullet weight, and Speer forms the cavity in two stages to control both expansion and expansion rate. The bullet is then finished with a smooth profile for reliable feeding in semi-automatic handguns.
Designed to meet the stringent FBI protocol tests for service-class handgun cartridges, Gold Dot is evaluated for penetration, expansion, and retained weight in bare gelatin and gelatin shielded by common barriers.
