The S&W Black Operations spring-assist knife features a blue tanto-point blade with a Teflon coating and an ultra-fast M.A.G.I.C. assisted-open mechanism. The mechanism can be activated using the ambidextrous thumb stud or the finger actuator on the back of the blade.
The blade is made of 4034 stainless steel and measures 3.4 in. The knife measures 7.7 in. overall and 4 3/10 in. when closed. A blade safety switch helps prevent accidental opening, and a liner lock helps prevent the blade from closing accidentally while in use.
