The Independence is a leather OWB holster custom-molded for the Springfield Echelon 4.5F. It is hand-crafted in the USA from vegetable-tanned leather, with 8 oz of full-grain premium leather. Designed by a master leather craftsman, 20-year Navy veteran, and IDPA competitive shooter, the leather is described as coming from “patriotic cows.”
Its proprietary double-layer shell uses full-grain leather, with the inner layer grain-side to help protect the firearm from holster wear. The design has 3 retention points and a rear tail fin that pushes the firearm against the body to reduce printing.
The reinforced rear belt loop is made of PVC-coated ballistic nylon and snaps open for quick deployment. The proprietary belt-loop design works with any standard 1.5-inch belt. Choose Brown or Black, with Right- or Left-hand options.
