The Stevens 555 Compact is an over/under shotgun designed for smaller-framed shooters, with a compact 13.25-inch length-of-pull and a mid-length fore-end.
This 28 Gauge model features 24" vent rib barrels, a 2.75" chamber, a light aluminum receiver scaled to gauge, and a steel insert that reinforces the breech. It also includes a Turkish walnut stock and fore-end, shell extractors, a manual safety, a single, selective mechanical trigger, an ambidextrous design, and a bead sight.
Five interchangeable choke tubes are included: F, Im, M, Ic, C. The shotgun ships with 2 rounds.
