The Stretch 2 XL Lightweight is the newest member of a cutting-tool lineage that spans more than three decades. Inspired by the Stretch 2, this XL version extends the design’s overall length by eight percent while delivering 13 percent more blade length.
It features a straight-spined, full-flat-ground VG-10 stainless steel blade and a linerless fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle. The injection-molded handle includes Bi-Directional Texturing for a positive grip, a fully configurable four-position pocket clip, and a sturdy back lock mechanism.
Despite its larger size, the Stretch 2 XL Lightweight weighs a scant 27 ounces (77 grams), and its FRN handle reduces weight by 29 percent compared to the Stretch 2 with stainless steel liners.
