The Stretch 2 XL Lightweight is an all-purpose cutting tool inspired by the Stretch 2 and a family of knives with a history spanning more than three decades. Earlier knives in the family were optimized for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts.
Its straight-spined, full-flat-ground VG-10 stainless steel blade has 13 percent more blade length than the Stretch 2, while the design’s overall length increases by eight percent. The injection-molded, linerless fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle features Bi-Directional Texturing, a four-position pocket clip and a back lock mechanism.
The FRN handle reduces weight by 29 percent compared to the Stretch 2, which has stainless steel liners. The knife weighs 27 ounces (77 grams).
