The Taurus Raging Hunter is a large-frame, double-action/single-action steel-frame revolver chambered in 500 S&W. This five-shot version has an 8.37-inch barrel, a black barrel and cylinder, a silver frame, rubber grips and an adjustable rear sight.
Designed as an option for short- to medium-range hunting, it features an angular barrel design intended to reduce overall weight. Factory-tuned porting and a gas expansion chamber reduce muzzle lift for quicker target acquisition. Cushioned insert grips support a comfortable, controllable shooting experience.
The Raging Hunter received the 2019 American Hunter Handgun of the Year Golden Bullseye Award.
