The Tourney Viking Sword - Blunt by Kingston Arms is built for reenactment and stage combat. It is part of the Tourney Series Sparring and Stage Swords designed to set a new standard in this price point of re-enactment weaponry.
Key features include thru-tang handle construction, a peened stainless steel pommel and guard, and a 2mm rounded edge thickness. The blade is forged from 9260 spring steel and tempered to around 50 Hrc for lasting performance.
The cord wrapped leather grip has an oval cross section and slight barrel shape to help reduce fatigue, and it is large enough to accommodate armoured hands. A respectable fuller runs the length of both pieces to lighten and counter balance the swords overall.
Each sword comes with a wood core and leather wrapped scabbard tipped with a stainless chape.
