Traditions Snap Caps are .40 S&W snap caps supplied 6 per package. They help relieve stress on firing pins and firing pin springs.
For safely storing an unloaded firearm, place a snap cap in the chamber and fire so the firing pin can rest. Snap Caps can also be used for dry-fire practice to teach safe gun handling, improve shooting skills, and tune a trigger.
