True Tatami Omote mats are designed as tameshigiri sword-cutting test targets. Their consistent quality helps provide the same cutting experience from mat to mat.
Each mat measures 36" x 70" and is woven from stems of soft rush (juncus effusus) to avoid the scratches that can occur with coarser tatami.
The mats are clean to handle and absorb water very quickly. Cut clean and swift with these tatami mats.
