The Timberwolf TWF Full/Compact Textured Frame is a bare frame. The TWF-C and TWF-F accept Gen3 and Gen4 G17,17L,22,24,31,34,35, and 37 slides. With a Gen4 slide, remove the installed adapter in the dust cover area; with a Gen3 slide, leave the adapter in place to fill the gap between the slide and dust cover.
The frame includes a dust cover adapter, removable magazine well, and interchangeable backstraps; TWL and TWF backstraps are interchangeable. If purchased with a parts kit, the same parts are included but not installed. Most parts for use with your own parts are Gen3 parts, except the magazine catch and trigger housing, which require a Gen4 style part.
When swapping magazine catch directions, remove the magazine catch spring; do not pry the spring around the catch, as this can damage the frame. This is an FFL item and is not returnable. At checkout, provide the receiving FFL’s name, city, state, and phone number in the comments.
