This custom double-edge Damascus dagger has a round handle made from Coco Bolo wood, with a brass spacer and silver. It comes with a genuine leather sheath featuring a belt loop on one end.
The blade is made from Damascus steel created by forge welding layers of 15N20 and 1095 high carbon tool steels. The billet is folded and re-welded several times, and the steel is manipulated during forging to create its layered pattern. The blade hardness is 55-60 HRC on the Rockwell scale.
The layered hard and soft steel is described as providing flexibility and toughness, with invisible serrations that aid cutting.
