The Vanguard 3 (VG3) is a minimalist inside-the-waistband (IWB) holster designed for use with weapon-mounted lights. This version includes an over hook.
The VG3 attaches to the weapon light and covers only the light and the weapon’s trigger guard. Because it fits the light rather than the weapon, it works with a wide variety of pistols. Its design eliminates the bulk of a traditional IWB holster while providing a level of safety and security not attainable by simply placing a pistol in a pants waistband.
The holster is fully ambidextrous and tuckable. It can be worn anywhere on the waistline except the small of the back.
