The Ventcore® 1.0 Inside-the-Waistband (IWB) Standard is a breathable hybrid holster engineered since 2012 for carrying full-frame firearms such as a Sig Sauer P226 or Glock 17. Its extended platform distributes firearm weight around the belt line for concealed carry. Strategically placed laser-cut ports support airflow, while the hard shell protects the firearm and high-performance mesh wicks moisture away from the body, including in hot weather.
Each holster is designed for its intended firearm, with grip clearance and 100% trigger guard coverage when holstered. Models are available with or without a Red Dot Compatible (RDC) cut; choose the cut option available for the selected make and model. Ventcore holsters for the Glock 19, Glock 43/43X MOS, Glock 43/43X w/TLR-7 Sub, Glock 48 MOS, Glock 48 w/TLR-7 Sub, Shadow Systems CR920, Shadow Systems MR920, Shadow Systems XR920, Sig Sauer P365/P365X, Sig Sauer P365XL, Sig Sauer P365 XMacro, Smith & Wesson Shield 9/40, Smith & Wesson Shield 2.0 9/40, and Smith & Wesson Shield Plus (3.1" Barrel) are only available in the new 2.0 holster line.
All IWB holsters have polymer straight clips, front-sight compatibility up to 0.4" in height, and a 15-degree adjustable cant. Rust-resistant, black-oxide-coated stainless steel fasteners secure the holster; non-permanent Vibra-Tite Threadlocker can be applied to screw threads for added stability. Laser or light-bearing models are available. Hand-built in the USA, Ventcore® items ship within approximately 2-4 weeks depending on sales volume.
