The Warne Generation 2 X-SKEL is a 30mm extended, skeletonized scope mount with a black finish. It fits AR rifles and provides a lightweight mounting solution for MSR-style firearms.
CNC precision machined from 6061 aluminum, the mount uses a skeletonized body and ring caps to reduce weight by over 30% compared with the R.A.M.P. Mount. It adds an additional inch of forward cantilever compared with the original SKEL Mount and has a one-piece side clamp design for additional strength.
The extra cantilever provides proper eye relief with scopes that have large eye boxes and leaves space behind the mount for accessories such as the Warne A645 45-degree side mount adapter. The mount is described as having Warne's durable return-to-zero reputation.
