The White Deer custom-made Damascus skinner knife features a handle made with bone and cocobolo wood. It is intended for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts.
Its Damascus blade is made by forge-welding multiple layers of 15N20 and 1095 high-carbon tool steel into a billet. The billet is folded and re-welded several times, and the steel is manipulated during forging to create its pattern. Acid treatment highlights the layered pattern by affecting the hard and soft steels differently. The Damascus steel has a hardness of 55–60 HRC on the Rockwell scale. The combination of hard and soft layers creates flexibility and toughness, and produces invisible serrations on the blade to aid cutting.
The knife is very sharp; open and use it carefully. It is intended only for legal use by responsible buyers. The seller is not responsible for injuries associated with use and will not sell to anyone under 18.
