This White Deer Damascus skinner hunter knife is made from a billet of forge-welded 15N20 and 1095 high-carbon tool steels. The billet is folded and re-welded several times, and the steel is manipulated during forging to create its layered pattern, which acid highlights on the blade.
The blade hardness is 55–60 HRC on the Rockwell scale. The description says the combination of hard and soft steel creates flexibility and toughness, with invisible serrations that aid cutting. It identifies the handle as red in the product name, while also specifying a full-tang handle made of Green Micarta Wood.
A genuine leather sheath with a belt loop on one end is included. Purchase is restricted to people 18 years or older.
