This Damascus steel tanto point hunting knife has a full-tang burl olive wood handle, brass guard, and brass pins spanning the blade. The spine is file worked, and a genuine leather sheath with a belt loop on one end is included.
The blade is made from a billet of 15N20 and 1095 high carbon tool steels. Multiple layers are forge welded, folded, and re-welded several times; acid highlights the layered pattern. The combination of hard and soft steel creates blade flexibility and toughness, with invisible serrations that aid cutting. Hardness is 55-60 HRC on the Rockwell scale.
