The White Deer Magnum Damascus Steel Handmade Hunting Knife is crafted with a layered Damascus blade made from 15N20 and 1095 high carbon tool steel.
The steel is forge welded into a billet, folded and re-welded several times to create multiple layers. When acid is added to the blade, it highlights the layered pattern created during the forge welding process.
This construction combines hard and soft steel for flexibility, toughness, and invisible serrations that aid in cutting. The blade hardness is 55-60 HRC on the Rockwell scale.
